Music · Stories that dance
When history also becomes a song
After more than two decades devoted to dance, teaching, shows and sharing Cuban culture, Salseros por Excelencia opened a new creative path: building its own musical heritage.
Thus began a process in which years of experiences, memories, people, reflections and lived moments started becoming songs.
Music was no longer simply an accompaniment to dance. It also began telling stories.
From this exploration comes Historias que bailan, a musical and audiovisual project conceived and directed by Wilfredo Mauricio Triana Villalón, bringing music, imagery, storytelling and new technological tools together in a work with its own identity.
Artificial intelligence serves as a tool within the creative process, while ideas, stories, concepts, decisions, selection and direction remain under human guidance.
One philosophy sums up this process
“Artificial intelligence proposes, the creator shapes, reality decides, and the soul gives meaning.”

First album
Inteligencia y Alma
Inteligencia y Alma is the first album in this new creative universe of Salseros por Excelencia.
Its songs explore different dimensions of one story: salsa identity, Cuban roots, the school, its people, memory, the passage of time, the future, and the relationship between human creativity and technology.
It was conceived as more than a collection of songs. Several works also developed through images, stories and audiovisual productions, expanding the project into a narrative in which music is heard and history is also seen.

Each song will have its official cover here, preserving the visual identity used on digital platforms.
Music and audiovisual production
From music to imagery
This creative process also gave rise to an audiovisual strand, turning selected songs into short narrative works.
El Mañana — Balada Pop, Inteligencia y Alma, Viaje al Futuro and El Despertar form this first audiovisual saga. All four works have official vertical music videos on YouTube, combining music, images and storytelling to explore humanity, memory, technology, the future and emotions.
El Despertar, the final work in this saga, closes this first audiovisual journey of Historias que bailan.
The project thus goes beyond a traditional album, becoming a space for experimentation with music, storytelling and imagery.

Historias que bailan
After Inteligencia y Alma, the musical project continues growing with a second production: Historias que bailan, comprising ten new songs already produced and ready for release.
While the first album opened a path through music, memory, identity and the future, this new production turns toward stories born from life: teachers, generations, places, memories, experiences and lasting impressions.
Historias que bailan starts from a simple idea: behind every song there may be a story, and behind every story something worth keeping alive through dance.
